A Designated Focal Point is responsible for reviewing, approving, or rejecting new user account registration requests for the type of accreditation assigned to the Focal Point. Additionally, they are tasked with reviewing user registration requests for specific sections or events.
Once a user is designated as a Focal Point, they will start receiving email notifications whenever a new review is required. To review these requests, they can click on the link provided in the notifications or go to the Profile section of the site.
Designated Focal Points have two additional options in the Profile section:
Review account registrations
Review event registrations
By clicking on one of these options, they will find a list of all requests (new account users or event registrations), both pending and already reviewed. They can view the details of each request by clicking the “View” button located to the left of each request. This action is the same as clicking on the link in the email received for each request.
If you view a request, a form with the complete information will be displayed. If the request is pending review, the options to Approve o Reject the request will appear at the bottom.
Additionally, you can add comments to your response to complement your action of Approving or Rejecting, which will be included in the notification sent to the user requesting the review.
